** Creative Brush Studio. I have a couple walls and a window in their gallery. A lot of my latest work plus a few older pieces. ** Grounds Central Station. My art association has a rotating show in this cozy coffeeshop; every six weeks we install works based on a different theme. ** Weinegar's Sweets & Treats. A bakery and tearoom which also exhibits works by many local artists, I usually have a piece or two in there. LIMITED TIME ONLY:
** March 12-April 30: Appalachian Trail Art Show at Round Hill Arts Center. ** April 2-May 1: Unfinished/Finished at DelRay Artisans. Visit in person or scroll down for an online photo gallery. ** April 18-May 29: Seven Expressions at Creative Brush Studio. The in-house artists paint their passions! (See one of mine, left.) ** April 24, noon to 5: Artists Inventory Sale at the Harris Pavilion. Everything in my booth will be no more than $50, most less! Rain date April 25. |
Two in the Bush, colored pencil, 5x7"
This started as a demo for a colored pencil class, and was meant to be just some random curves; then one of my students remarked that it looked like a bird. Well, I couldn't unsee it after that! And then I saw the other bird, hence the title....
This piece is destined for the 7 Expressions show at Creative Brush Studio. Each artist in the exhibit has a different passion: mine is "Favorite Places." The favorite place represented in this painting is ... my imagination!
